Hamworthy Krystallon has developed marine exhaust gas cleaning systems – or scrubbers – that can remove over 99% of harmful Sulphur Oxide emissions from the exhaust gases produced on large ocean-going vessels. In line with new United Nations and European Union regulations for much tougher Sulphur limits, due to start in 2015, Hamworthy Krystallon is one of a handful of innovative companies to develop exhaust gas scrubbing systems that can operate in the often harsh environment of a moving vessel.
Alisdair Pettigrew, Managing Director, BLUE said: “We have watched Hamworthy Krystallon develop over the years into the leading marine scrubber company in the market. We are delighted that such an innovative and aspirational company has chosen BLUE to lead its media and stakeholder communications strategy and implementation. We are very confident that BLUE’s unique understanding of the dynamics of the marine environment space, networks and key media will enable us to exceed Hamworthy Krystallon’s expectations and see them through an exciting period of commercialisation.”
Hamworthy Krystallon is part of Hamworthy Plc, an innovative, market-leading global company providing high technology products, systems and services to the marine and oil & gas industries.
