With 30 years’ international experience in marine, energy and global supply chains, Mark brings both deep industry knowledge and best practice in brand and communications strategy, employee engagement and corporate communications.
Mark was previously Communications Director for 11 years with Lloyd’s Register, where he was responsible for brand and communications strategy, media relations, crisis management, internal communications, executive engagement and digital transformation for both Lloyd’s Register and the Lloyd’s Register Foundation. He developed and implemented a globally consistent brand and digital strategy and established an internal communications centre of excellence which became a trusted advisor to the executive and broader organisation.
Prior to joining Lloyd’s Register, Mark was Commercial Director of TradeWinds, Marketing Manager with V.Ships, and Marketing Director of Onesea.com.
With strong commercial skills and networks across disciplines, Mark’s approach is to help clients build the brand from the inside out, establishing a shared understanding of the core building blocks of the brand and then empowering employees to talk confidently and fluently about their organisation.
Mark is a regular speaker on brand and communications issues at conferences and panels and has lectured on university courses.
