With marine and energy organisations having to rapidly adapt to a uniquely challenging global crisis, building and managing brand and reputation is more important than ever. Smart organisations recognise the importance of continuing to engage with their customers and stakeholders at this time and utilising the benefits of ‘digital’ as a way of influencing and bringing their brands to life.
We’re therefore delighted to have been appointed by three leading organisations, KPI OceanConnect, Rocktree and Nachipa, following a number of new account wins in June and July.
KPI OceanConnect
KPI OceanConnect was formed following the merger of KPI Bridge Oil and OceanConnect Marine. The new company creates one of the largest independent marine fuels service and solutions providers in the world with over 50 years of collective experience. With a 170-strong team operating across 15 locations globally, KPI OceanConnect will have an established foothold in every major maritime hub and time zone.
Drawing on our years of experience in the marine fuels market, BLUE has been appointed as KPI OceanConnect’s outsourced communications partner supporting KPI OceanConnect with the launch of the new brand, and ongoing reputation building through all traditional and digital channels.
Rocktree
We’re also delighted to be working with Rocktree to support its brand-building and reputational goals through digital and social channels.
Headquartered in Singapore, Rocktree is a specialist, market leading provider of marine dry bulk cargo handling and delivery solutions, and the fastest growing transhipment company in the world. The company is actively looking to expand in its core geographic areas, as well as drive growth in new regions, in conjunction with diversification into new markets.
Nachipa
Formed in 1948 Nachipa is a third-generation, family-owned shipping company operating in the dry bulk sector. With Chilean shipping heritage, they are proud custodians of South American shipping traditions. Nachipa operates 12 predominantly handysize vessels and at present transports approximately 3m metric tonnes of cargo annually. The company leads the dry bulk sector for the South, Central and North Americas and Caribbean, and is expanding its operations to meet growing demand for modern Supramax / Ultramax tonnage, with ambitions to triple its capacity by 2023.
BLUE will support Nachipa in communicating its purpose and values to its global stakeholders in line with the launch of its new brand and identity.
In support of this client growth, the BLUE team is also growing. We recently welcomed a new Senior Account Executive, Kundai Musara, and intern Victoria Bailey. To find out more about a career at BLUE, visit www.blue-comms.com/careers.
